This blog is written in, from and about many places. My permanent base is in Perth, Western Australia and I would like to acknowledge that this place is on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk Noongar people. I wish to acknowledge and respect their continuing culture and the contribution they make to the life of the city and the region.

I also wish to acknowledge the Traditional Owners of country throughout Australia and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and community. I pay my respects to them, and to their elders past and present.
